As we have a cache proxy, you have to declare the new address on your instance page.

Next you will have to create a symbolic link if you want to use this new address as an alias for an existing one.

We have added a tutorial on the french wiki, we will translate it soon (http://wiki.gandi.net/fr/simple/sft...)

We will probably add the possibility to do it directly from your instance page as it's a recuring request.

Sorry to ask, is there anyone knows how to add alias domain on one site ?
When i use add aliases domain from zone server, it gives me Error 403 Bad Vhost.
but i couldn't find another way to solve this.

@Pothi : you can easily add subdomains. When you are in the "Sites" section of your instance's interface, click on the "Add" button. Then, you are absolutely free to add whatever subdomain you want - you are not limited to "www".

I've been using yours for the past few days. It rocks! I couldn't believe how fast it is. Now I only wish I could add sub-domains. I do not need a way to add add-on domains, though.

Hello Lennie,
Actually we have anycast set up between our Paris and US DNS servers. You are right, it makes a significant difference.

Alby, I'm not 100% sure what you are asking for, but we do have a control panel for the Simple Hosting instance. Perhaps you could be a bit more detailed in your request for additional features, and put them here?

1. You should consider moving one or two of the nameservers for gandi.net to the US
2. the button below says preview, but actually does a submit

Why didn't you mention all inclusives:
- Control panel type/ brand
- Clearly detail description of level of privileges compared to the hosting standard of: Dedicated Admin, VPS Admin (with or without reboot privileges), Shared Admin (with or without Reseller privileges) etc.

They use 100% free software(free as freedom) and have good prices.

I paid only one month to test the Simple Hosting, but still not what I need.

Gandi simples hosting solution seems perfect for my low, low requirements, I just wish it had SSH access and it would be exactly what I needed Not being able to do an rsync or scp using helpful shell scripts, such as Drush for Drupal, or pulling changes from an CVS saddens me.
