Can't wait for OpenSolaris support. While the current CentOS VM here at Gandi does the job nicely, I prefer a Solaris based solution, because I'm at home there and the Xen overhead will be gone with Zones, too. It seems that disk access suffers a lot from it.

Are you going to base it on Project Indiana and SUNWipkg zones? Just asking, because IPS is pretty nice (I'm running OpenSolaris 2008.05 RC2a right now).

No, we just put it in priority 2, Open Solaris will come first ('easier' to be implemented)

In one of the earlier posts it was mentioned about some progress on BSD-based systems. It also used to be on the list of things Gandi was working on. Now BSD is gone from that list and there's no mention of BSD in the post.

You haven't given up, have you?
