Like a lot of people, I didn’t want to allow Gandi either to disappear or simply change. Its ethic, its way of handling clients, its reputation for professionalism, had appealed to me since it started.

So, year after year, patience (something I usually totally lack) became a virtue I had to live with ... until an opportunity arose.

One day, Laurent (Chemla) came to see me and we started talking about a strategy to get their "baby" back. As is often the case, all this is just a story about people (= human being, not crazy), about sharing a certain approach to life, to love and cows… in short, about affinities.
The rest, roughly the eleven months which followed and Gandi's current situation, well… that’s exactly one of the reasons why this Blog exists.

I said, "one of the reasons", because there are others:

Haphazardly, I will talk about the desire to exchange addresses that are crazy fun (or not), to have discussions that are just a little more serious around any given subject (by you, by me), to have direct interaction with, of course, the users of Gandi (without substituting me for the Support team, pity!, they are more qualified… and prettier than I), the need to have "a place" that is me (just so I can invite my buddies).

In short, nothing fundamentally revolutionary, but like in any really great "Bar", a profound wish to change the world ;].
