Good Resolutions 2006

No, seriously, do you follow them, your good resolutions taken at the beginning of the year? The same. Therefore, the only solution to have a chance to follow at least one: to put on the pressure and publish them in front of all of you.
In no particular order (that’s the least of my
worries):
- Stop buying stupid things, in the large sense of the term. Including all the electronic gadgets that are
absolutely useless, therefore irreplaceable, which accumulate in my garage. Excluding all the wheeled vehicles, you can’t
mess around. The little boy in me still needs to dream, you REALLY can’t mess around.
- I will not buy Gandi instead of certain people. No, I’m not just saying that because I received a court order from an unhappy candidate on this first working day of the year...
-
I
will make my colleagues who still smoke quit smoking, by sticking them on the
terrace of our new premises. I know, it seems totalitarian and it is. But, it’s
for the well-being of everyone.
- We will organize a real "Gandi
Bar" party on a regular basis. Try to get to know each other a little
better and in addition have an excuse to have a drink. Eh, Carole^^?.
- Continue to take care of my family.
Certainly my lovely wife might say, as women are apt to point out, that sometimes I’m not around enough,
but it will remain my absolute priority for the rest of my time on this planet.
- Go from a “Hardcore Gamer" to a
"Casual Gamer". This will help me realize the previous point. At the
same time, 30 years of video games isn’t so easily forgotten, so be indulgent.
In fact, if someone wants to go a round of CSS, whenever you want^^.
- Continue to Help. No reason to go
into that subject any deeper. I just like the idea to help as much as we can.
- Lose a little weight. I know.
Pathetic, but if I don’t put it on this list, I’ll be sleeping outside tonight.
- Stop saying, Damn it! every two
seconds when I’m less attentive. But to me,
it’s just an exclamation point.
- Finally, I promise to try to take
pleasure in all that I do. What did you say, that doesn’t go with the previous
resolutions? Noooooooooo!!!
