This 2.0 is already being replaced by a 2.0.1, then a 2.1 will come soon, and so on : this is a continuous improvement process and we need your help to do so.

Hi, well, really nice to place orders now!! clean and nice interface. I registered just now 3 .com domains.
How would be placed the refund of the paid price?? i saw that my credit card was charged!!

We will refund a one year registration, so your account will be recharged either by cancelling the transaction (regarding the bank) or we'll find a way

Where can I set up Customized DNS for my domains now? Can't find it unfortunately
Osakana => we're working on it Golev => we fix a small bug, it will be up again soon...On ce you choose DNS1: ns7.gandi.net DNS2: custom2.gandi.net you have an access to the zone management.
In 2 weeks you will have the possibility to manage the zone file on any Gandi's DNS.

I was migrated my server with all the domains inside tonight, a great fiasco when I was to gandi.net to change my new dns, and surprise... no gandi page found, only a blog, when come back, no dns change posible, I am paranoia, when can I change my dns of all my customer's domains

dns issues are being fixed right now, it was bugged on the interface, not the dns themselves ...
I like the new design, I know how difficult it is to do this kind of change without disturbing service a little.
I would suggest that where you list the domains in the Control Panel you color coded the domains like in the previous version of Gandi, like red when you domain has expired.
In fact I have a domain expiring today, and I tried to renew it but I get a "Eror 404 - Page not found, sorry." message.

When I had my password sent to me, it did not indicate on the web that it had actually sent me my password, it simply returned to the previous screen. The email was sent, but in french without an english version. Good luck on the switch!
Guy, you forgot to change your high price during the update! 12Euro is really a rip off when you can get it for 8 USD (6 Euro) on most of other registrars.
well I have been with gandi 4 years now GANDI IS #1 I dont even care about the attacks they have had cause they are the best.I have been using GANDI now for all my main and mailing domains and never had an issue as I had over a godaddy 5 years ago when they took 11 of my domains away apparently for abuse even though I was on my BULLETPROOF servers.Anyhow it took me 4 minutes to see how dns works and all that and great job here.Keep up the good hard work....

I am very glad the new site is up; I really like it. The easy handle lookup form is a very nice touch. Despite the delay I am glad that you are continuing to improve your already excellent service.

Right now sit is still slow for a minority (including myself), and we are releasing a fix as we speak.
On the verge of moving our domains away from GANDI due to the appalling slowness of the site. It's unusable and severly affecting our business.
We just made an upgrade some minutes ago, and it seems it solved many of the slowliness issues. Could you confirm ?
DNS managing interface is not still available, so i cannot manage new domains registered yesterday and I NEED TO DO!!! Any other way to manage DNS?
DNS managing doesn't work, only can the DNS server, or new NS but no way to change the IP or URL, and by another way it's imposible to restart a transfer that was failed.
Where do you go to change your DNS settings (advanced)? The links I have are redirecting back to the main Admin page. I got the links yesturday but was not able to update due to your server issues. The site seems to be working today. On the domain administration page there is no link or option to update your DNS settings.

Nice layout, but that is the only good thing I can say!!! Gandi owners id is mixed up which means no changes can be made........sucks Renewal script does not work either!!!...........sucks This is costing me a lot of hassle from my customers and it is costing them business!!!
Please put back the old interface and leave this alfa to be checked out.

Well, i cannot say i am happy. DNS management does not work, so i am not able to manage my domains. My business are STOPPED Sirs!!! Please, make it work as i need to manage DNS!! Previous interface was more simple but it was working!! Please, go a step back. We register domains for business, not for joy, This is not a game.
If it ain't broke ... The old interface was working, the new one is not. Too many bugs/instabilities to list em: Handle update, Orders in Progress ...
URL and Email redirects aren't working.
It seems kind of ironic that with Gandi as broken as it now is, the Network Status indicator on the home page continues to say OK. Perhaps the Network Status indicator is also broken?
And is anybody home at Gandi? Making a major change and then leaving for the weekend would not be a good idea.
Correction to my msg #29 above: Email (and probably url) redirections which existed prior to the interface change are continuing to work. It is email and url redirections to domains created *after* the interface change which do not work.
Right Frank. I'm so frustrated. My domains expire in a year -- and the clock is ticking. I want my year!
Gandi v2 has not responded to my emails -- has not acknowledged my concerns -- hasn't even given an explanation. 0 support.
We can´t renew one domain that is in denier rappel, the new site does not works, we cant do log in if we select english language, and if we login using default french language the proccess for renew a domains dont go ....
I prefer the V1 version, because, it was stable not this with a lot of errors, the look is good, but you have to prove it more before change it.

I wrote gandi two or three emails since the day before yesterday and nobody reply me.
I am not able to update password. Forms keeps asking of a company ID even though I don't have one, nor have I had one. Also, even though "company ID" is NOT a required item (no asterisk) it acts as if it is. Sent 3 emails over 48 hours. One to " faq-ticket@gandi.net" which bounced back.
URL redirection on new domain is finally working, but still not possible to add a second email forwarding address.
Things are getting better. It is now possible to add a second email forwarding address on newly created domain.

Quite apart from all the things you've broken in changing the UI, have you given any thought to how reaable this tiny brown writing on a brown background is going to be for anyone with even the slightest eyesight problems, let alone anyone with a full blown disability? Anyone with any experience in cpmmercial web site publishing should have put that particular item at the top of the priority list. Great branding exercise, and that's about all that can be said in favour of the change.As for the expressed hope that GANDI won't sell out - bad news, fella: they just did.
Unisol, I'm starting to believe nothing will please you today (cf your other post). This time it's the UI, and you are among the 1% who are complaining about the new design ...
This said, we'll definitely review the contrast, because on some parts it could be better, but overall the feedback is massively positive.

The design of the new website looks great, and it has become more usable (as opposed to many other "redesigned" websites which get Flashier and unusable...).

Five years ago I chose Gandi because of it's liberal contract / domain policy terms and excellent price for registration (at the time). Not speaking French made it a little difficult to navigate the site, but once I figured it out I found it a little clunky but straight forward and to-the-point which I have come to appreciate.
I have not tried to use the new site, except to look at the current contract terms, which I found in about 3 clicks (the link on the FAQ page).
I appreciate the site redesign, but I may change my opinion after trying to actually accomplish something. It is important to me to have transparency into a company and this blog helps me get an idea who is behind the curtain and also how some of the other customers feel about Gandi. This is valuable to me, but tops on my list are the terms and contract and the ability to get to my information and do the work I need to do on the site.
A big plus is the ability to subscribe to the RSS feed here to be (hopefully) notified of any important changes to your site or to the terms and conditions of the contract.
Now if the site works as good as it looks I will be happy. I'll post on that after I have used it for some time.

The new standards-compliant design is an elegant touch on an already great core service. There are many domestic registrars here in the United States, but I have and will continue using Gandi because it is clean, easy, and reliable. Keep up the good work people!
Just noticed that a minor fix is needed to retain preference selected in the dropdown list for "number of domain names per page" on the control pannel.
Should I be emailing gandi staff regarding any issues with the site, or should i post here in the comments?

One problem: The invoices produced by your web site use a lot of background color which do not render well when printed on my laser b&w printer. Most notably the "price Incl. tax" line is nearly unreadable.
Very nice. Much better looking than the old site. Somebody gave a little more thought to design. Wish my site looked as good. Speed of your site is fine.
It took me some time to remember my password, and I clicked on the login problems link and asked that it be resent to me. I didn't get any confirmation, just a note saying I needed to be logged in to view this page. A bit ironic -- if I'm asking for my password to be sent to me I'm clearly not logged in!
Aside from that, really pretty design, I love it. Haven't tried doing anything yet, but looking forward to it!
When will the pro site be up and running? We have domains expiring but are unable to credit our account.
We have decided to move all our domains away from Gandi. Their customer service doesn't. Just too much going wrong at critical moments and no help, it simply doesn't inspire confidence.
I just logged in to Gandi for the first time since the update and must say that I'm very impressed! Way to go and keep up the good work.
i've been with gandi for a long time too, but now, i'm not so sure.
i think the price is maybe too high, and i'm having problems, too - slow turn-around on email supports, occasional many hour or day delays of emails, and problems changing my adminstrative contact info.
but the biggest question is this: will CATCH-ALL email forwarding be enabled soon? otherwise, i really will have to leave gandi

I came to see this a few weeks ago, and it looked fine. Then I just came today to guy several domains and it is terrible! I cannot get ENGLISH pages to come up anywhere except here! Not even links on the main page for the english versions. I am using NetScape/Mozilla.
Much better than V1, but that wasn't hard. The thing is - it's pretty good in absolute terms! Thanks. Keep at it.

Why are all owner details totally worng for all my domains. They seem to show one or two clients emails of other domains under my control. This is very bad. I cannot change owner details withouth the request email going to the totally wrong client.
