This opening will occur in several phases:

  • from June 16th at 5:00 PM to June 20 at 9:00 AM (Paris time), orders will not be sent to AFNIC (no purchases, transfers, DNS changes, etc.). Gandi will transmit all your changes to AFNIC upon its reopening on Tuesday morning,
  • June 20th, at 9:00 AM (Paris time), domains beginning with a number or the letters A and B will be sent to AFNIC, all other orders will be rolled out over the following days,
  • June 21st, at 9:00 AM (Paris time), domains beginning with a number or the letters A through F will be sent to AFNIC, all other orders will be rolled out over the following days,
  • June 22nd, at 9:00 AM (Paris time), domains beginning with a number or the letters A through N will be sent to AFNIC, all other orders will be rolled out over the following days,
  • finally, on June 23rd at 9:00 AM (Paris time), the totality of domains will be sent to AFNIC.

In order to maximize your chances for success, please remember that in order to be valid, the order must be sent with the following information:

- owner's date of birth

- city where the owner was born

- number of the French département where the owner was born (99 for those born outside France)
