(5/6) Our hosting will be evolutive

This point is particularly interesting for those that are not (yet) convinced. We have briefly discussed this in the entry dedicated to flexibility: the way that our solution constantly evolves. Being able to resize your server depending on its needs, on-the-fly, this is also innovation you say?

What do I mean by evolutive? Quite simply, that your hosting resources, once installed, may change, in terms of processor power, RAM, bandwidth and/or disk capacity, without the slightest interruption in service, and without limit...
Ok, if I need more power, the service adapts itself - and my bill as well... But if I need less? The same
From the moment when you have freed the hard drives, you may simply stop your servers at any moment. That, too, is the big difference between our offer and the other ones out there: ours is without any contractual period!
The point in particular that should really finish convincing even the most hesitant of you, is that our service can be tested by anyone in a very-very short period of time. The smallest unit of time is one hour!
To discuss the evolutive side a bit more, each of you may request the addition of a new feature via a wishlist system. We then will add new services in priority depending on the number of you that request it.
Here is an example that will clarify this a bit:
I would like a SPOP module that is automatically installed with my Apache-PHP server. I then suggest it to Gandi via the wishlist, and since many others request it as well, it moves up to first place. Your humble servants at Gandi will then set out to make this module available to you as soon as possible.
The evolutive nature of our solution is also in your hands, because you are the ones that we must listen to for it.
Today, 16:30 GMT: Gandi Hosting has opened in Closed Beta. This signifies that some of you have just received an e-mail telling you how to enter into this first phase. If you did not receive this e-mail, don't worry, in a few days we will send out a second wave of e-mails.
Next? Well, next is the Open Beta, where everyone will be welcome to come and visit the land of Gandi!

Any word yet on hosting rates? And when space will be available? A month? Two?
I have a client who will be looking for a web host soon, and we'd love to host at Gandi.
